I was 25 years old when I realized I had grown up in a financially messy home, and I was headed in the same direction as my parents. That's when I began learning about money. I began getting money smart. I put together my plan to become a millionaire by age 40, and I hit my goal. Now, I’m on a mission to help others become abundantly minded with a purpose for their life and money. I believe virtually anyone can become a millionaire…if they do the right things. Yes. Almost Anyone. But it takes work.

Meet Tony
I’ve spent over 16 years working as VP, CIO, and COO in the personal finance space. Over my career, I’ve focused on developing digital products and systems to help people with their financial education and tools to manage their money. Over time, I realized one of my passions is to see people succeed and enjoy a better and more fulfilled life. Of course, one of the components of a more fulfilled life is personal finance. So I’m looking forward to a future of helping others recognize and achieve their capacity to build wealth for themselves and their families.

I graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Pensacola Christian College. In my first year after college, I spent time at several manufacturing facilities on assembly lines attempting to work my way into an engineering position. Falcon Fabricators, a manufacturer of stainless steel restaurant equipment, Whirlpool, manufactured air conditioning systems, and finally landed back the company I interned with in college, Bennett Tool and Die, a job shop for General Electric, Yamaha, and several other clients.
Several months after returning to Bennett, I moved into the engineering department, where I spent six years doing engineering and network administration work. Then, in March 2001, I said goodbye to my engineering career and moved full-time into digital and technology. I began in the personal finance space when I joined a small company as part of their digital team. Over time, I proceeded into a Vice President role and then on to CIO and later COO briefly before my exit.

As VP and CIO, I spearheaded the transition from an analog company into the digital world. We were very early-stage innovators in the online space with online lead generation and management systems in 2002, early adopters of e-commerce, developed advertising synergy between our radio and online advertising, e-learning pioneers, online budgeting technology in 2003, early leveraging of website analytics to grow our business, and much more. As the primary leader of our digital expansion, I oversaw and influenced the maturing of our digital strategies and the growth of our digital team from a staff of 3 to 150.

As COO, I worked with other board members to transition the company to a more strategic mindset with an annual strategic planning process, development, and communication of a strategic plan to the leadership team and the company as a whole.
family
I met my wonderful wife Beth in 1997. It didn’t take long to figure out we were meant for each other, but at 27, we were a little skeptical. After getting past the doubts, I proposed in early 1998 and married the girl in the fall. That was over 20 years ago. Since then, we’ve been on plenty of adventures and somehow endured them all. Beth didn’t know what she was signing up for when she said, “I do,” but she’s hung in there like a champ. Life gets better every day when I wake up and see her.

We had six children (three boys and three girls) along the way. They’re all wonderful, too, so I guess they take after their mother. But, like any daddy, they all have me wrapped around their finger. So I know there are times when life can be challenging and how amazing it can be if you do the right things.
